Urban Entertainment Excellence

Being raised in a musical family ignited my passion for music entertainment from a young age. I earned my Associate Degree in Radio Television Broadcasting from the International College of Broadcasting Soon after, I began my career at Dayton's WB as an Master Controller and later joined Block Broadcasting in Cincinnati, where I played a role in producing a segment  on Lincoln Ware talk show . Additionally, I co-host the African Village Book Hour on WIAF Cincinnati, celebrating music and culture with our community and now an currant graduated of the Ebony J Media Learning Center. My passion for entertainment  and learning continues to  runs through me . My goal is to make sure everyone has the oppurtunity to experiance quilty entertainment that they can afford.

Andre DeVond, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from Central State University in 1988, with a B.A. in Communication-Radio/Television. Andre started in video production and in 1986 a freelance videographer shooting video for local television stations and corporate companies. In 1986 prior to his graduation, he was hired by Central State University as the Operation’s Manager at WCSU 88.9 FM radio station. He oversaw overseeing the daily operations of WCSU, Instructional Services and the TV Production Departments. Andre was also highly recognized and instrumental in the CSU Football program as the team’s Chief Videographer, his work played a very big part with CSU football players being selected into the NFL and other football leagues. In 1993, Andre went to work for WHIO Channel 7 in the News Department, also in 1993, he was asked by Wilberforce University to serve as Director of Media Technologies. In 1995, due to the demand in music management/promotions and video productions, he formed Solid Video Productions and Tri-A Entertainments. SVP has produced local television commercials, documentaries, college recruitment, sports, training and informational videos for colleges and small companies. His work in the video business has taken him all over the United States and Internationally in Israel and Egypt. In 2003, Andre accepted a position with WDTN TV. Channel 2 in the News Department and later serve as the Greene County Bureau Chief of. Channel 2. After leaving. Channel 2 he started DeVond Media Network, LLC A multimedia video production and music entertainment consulting company. Andre is now an Adjunct Professor of media and a consultant for WCSU 88.9 FM at Central State. University.
